A drinking party at important bat hibernation caves off Dorset Hill Road late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning led to three arrests, a number of citations and a broken police cruiser windshield, according to state police.

State Reps explain their votes on veto override

House representatives overrode Governor James Douglas's veto of the Democrats $4.5 million budget for the 2010 fiscal year earlier this week by a vote of 100-50. State representatives Jeff Wilson and Cynthia Browning voted in favor of the overide while representatives Patti Komline and Rick Hube voted to sustain the veto.
