Mark Twain "Travels" to Dorset in one-man show
While there is no clear record that Mark Twain ever visited Dorset, Vt., locals can take in the American literary giant over the next three days. That's because Dorset Theatre Festival will be hosting a September show for their 2014 summer season, a limited three-day run of "Travels with Mark Twain."

Three-town economic study gets boost
John O'Keefe, town manager, said during Tuesday's Select Board meeting, that the study, which will be completed by the Bennington County Regional Commission, will look at how to get people to both live and work in Manchester and the surrounding communities. "We have an opportunity ... to address economic development, what the needs are and what we can do to stimulate or improve our situation," Wayne Bell, vice-chairman of the select board said.
