Kaster retires after 21 years in 4-H
After the 2008 Sioux County Youth Fair, Ann Kaster wrapped up her 21st and final year as a 4-H leader. According to Kaster, the time spent in the organization has been fun and rewarding, but she's not finished with 4-H yet.
In 1987, Kaster replaced Gayla Tiedemann as one of the Hull Clovers 4-H Club leaders. Kaster worked with Karen Wesselink for three years until she retired and then Bev Sheldahl joined Kaster for 15 years until Linda Landman replaced Sheldahl.
Throughout that time Kaster's four daughters participated in 4-H from fourth through twelfth grade. This year, when her youngest, AmberLea, finished her last year of 4-H, Kaster knew it was her turn to step down.

Trinity Christian High School to take shape this year
“We are very thankful for all the years that Western has served our students and our children”
In just four months summer vacation will be finished and students will be returning to school. But a handful of freshman students will blaze a new trail when they report to Hull's newest educational institution, Trinity Christian High School.
Trinity has been created by the Midwest Society for Protestant Reformed Secondary Education and is the culmination of 13 years of work and planning.
The freshman class will meet in a temporary location this year, while the 29,000 square-foot school is being built. In the fall of 2009, these students, along with another class of freshmen will move into the new facility, at Hayes Avenue northwest of Hull. Read more
