Donaldsonville night life frustrates residents

All of sudden after a couple of African Americans open up a place on the Avenue its a problem. I wonder why? The Avenue have been packed since I lived in Donaldsonville, more cars way more trash and parking all over now it's making the news... Grow up and complain about more important stuff. Life to short...

Cooper you must not live any where near the downtown area, it is not a black or white thing that you try to depict, of couse that is the easiest way to turn the attention from the real problem, which is a citizen's right to privacy and the right to be able to sleep at 2:00 a.m. it is not the fact that the one single place you are depicting is the problem, the washateria on Iberville and St.Patrick, the other restuarants and bars that are open till 2 a.m. and oh yes what about Hambonz? been open forever in the downtown, the only original owner/operator left on mainstreet in the restuarant and bar buisness, did we ever have these isues in the past, no I do not think so, lets face it, the kids and the lack of respect and care or concern due to the fact that most are not from Donaldsonville or just do not have any care or pride for their area is the issue's. the fact that we have no police department, the fact that the curfew laws and noise polution laws are not being inforced becuase there are only 4 officers to cover 9,000 people and they do not have time to worry about the little things as murder and assault are up 10 fold in our city, yeah your right we need to grow up and worry about the large stuff, oh yeah let me guess you no longer live here do you, easy to say when you are not involved, kind of like our city council, I wonder if any of them lived next to these places or businesses that are open 24 hours due to our wonderful zoning laws would be more inclined to get off their butts and earn their check, heh Eymel?????
