Huntington helps elderly with repairs
Since its inception in the mid 1980s, the Town of Huntington’s Residential Repair program has helped residents who are at least 60 years of age and unable to maintain their homes due to illness, incapacity, handicap or absence of a caregiver or relative. On a given year, the program handles roughly 600 work orders totaling more than 2,000 hours.
