When the family of Lyle F. Davoy Jr., allegedly slain by his father Monday evening, got a knock on the door at 1 a.m. in their Dinwiddie, Va., home, they had no idea of the devastating news they were about to receive.

The deceased driver of the motorcycle has been identified as William V. Aleshin, 70, of the 24000 block of Cutbank Road, McKenny, Va.

A man is in custody, after police say he led them on a chase and threatened to harm his own child when deputies attempted to arrest him.
