Energy Express, an award-winning statewide summer reading program, will kick off its sixteenth summer in Mingo County on Monday June 24, 2013 for students.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 9, by family and friends in remembrance of a mother and her children.

The Mingo County Magistrate Clerk's office provided copies of numerous arrests that occurred over the weekend, with defendants being taken into custody on a variety of charges.
