dude, stay on the road. squirrels, deer, opossoms and the like move. guard rails, trees and the like don't. run um' over. i am an animal lover, but dag gone stay on the road and take the chance at the last minute that they will scurry across. i haven't hit one yet. the only thing i swerve just a little for is turtles. bless their hearts, they just can't move that fast. all the dead animals i see i bet are hit mostly by people trying to avoid them, the animal has the same idea tries to move out of the way, the tires follow him and he still gets it. ouch.

Dude,
What about the "poor" animal that hits you? If they would just keep going away from the light you would not have to swerve - or even get thousands of dollars worth of damage. I mean, Dude......

When I used to deliver newspapers I got hit by deer two days in a row. They are so skittish. Both times they ran into the side of my Jeep. A few months later my wife swerved to avoid one and ended up sideswiping a tree. There was about $9000.00 damage to the same Jeep. I agree with Dude. I'm an animal lover too but jeez, a sudden swerve and you're out of control. Maybe even dead.

I hit a possum one time, and my daughter sobbed. I felt bad for her crying but why risk getting seriously hurt or hitting someone else and hurting them and not to mention all of the insurance red tape for an animal people put in a stew?? If they're dumb enough to run in theroad, then they're unfortuniate enough to get flattened. Like there are 20 morelive squirells for every dead one??

A deer stuck his head out once and the passenger side mirror of my mother in laws jeep hit it in the head, and when they looked back it just kept crossing the road.

man i do the same thing i swerve to avoid hitting a animal but the way times are now if you swerve and wreck the animals will use you as road kill if you die. the way times are know if you kill a animal on accident maybe someone hungray might take it home to eat it especially squirrels and deer rabbits too. i decided to stay focused on the road on what is a head of me. now if it comes into the side of me than thaat is something different. i can't help that. so please don't try to swerve again unless it is a vehicle.then take all the precautions you can. IHAVE BEEN DRIVING FOR 28 YEARS NOW AND NEVER HIT A ANIMAL .one time i was going to work at 500 am when a owl fail out of the tree and hit my windshield and i thought for sure that i hit a jogger but i turned around the truck when home got my husband out of the bed and told him that something hit my windshield but it didnot break it thank god the squ eachowl was in my bed of the truck it had it eyeball knock out but that was not my fault. i laugh about it at know back then it was scary. please keep eyes on the road at all times when driving or riding.

Daily Horoscope for November 28

Libra

Unexpected pressure on the job may add stress to your day, but by evening you are ready to relax with your partner, best friend, or spouse. Take this opportunity to talk about what you have been going through lately. The more you can help your partner understand your experiences, the better. Make sure you allow him or her plenty of airtime, too! Make love a two way street.
