Romo and some of his supporters that just come into our community think that they know it all. We have were born and raised here. They just want to come in and run this
City. If people think that he is the greatest, why has he not stayed long enough on his jobs in any communities he has been in?
Is he willing to be asked questions about what he does at his job? Some of the council members just wanted was for him to answer to the people that hired him. If you don't have anything to hide then cooperate.
At any job in order to keep your job you have to know who signs your check!

Amen to that, Spam. I totally agree 100% with what u r saying. The thing with all this is the division he caused among this community. That is what upset me the most. He has no idea what this community is made up of....He thinks this town is infested with drug dealers, and crooks. Every town has them. Dilley, is a good town with a lot of good people. Romo mistreated a lot of people in this communtiy-Good People. What he wanted was total power and that is wrong!! We cannot give anyone that kind of power-Not Anyone. That is why he was probably let go...he had respect for the council and they saw through that. We all have someone to answer to. If he is a good as some people say he then he won't have any trouble finding a job SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Good Luck Mr. Romo.

When Mr. Foster threatened to have him arrested that is what he said. I think I would have said the same thing if I were in his shoes.

The pictures were from drug seizures on the highway and other parts of the county, I don't know what fantasy world you live in but the drugs never went away in town what good is it to have a dilley PD pulling over eighteen wheelers in bigfoot, I even saw a Dilley PD in Batesville, we needed them in town. When people reported crime to the PD they were treated like the criminal they were rude and they were unprofessional. I believe we will have no problem replacing Romo and the town will not turn into the wild wild west.

All I have to say that no matter how many trucks that they get off the Highways that are full of drugs won't stop all the drugs in town. The other thing is they even have people that do drugs & that have family that do & deal drugs working for the city & the police departments so what is the big deal about having a police chief that steals money from the drug seizures work there. No matter who is Mayor or on the city council the City will always be corrupt. So if you can prove to the city council that you are as corrupt as they are will then you have a JOB. As far as Rudy helping people out he only helps the people that he likes & the ones that he is involved with. His Kids well they might have a better brain than anyone else but if they are going to do the job that they are hired for then what is the point. They all pick & choose who they want to help & who they don't want to help. They will help you even if they know that you are wrong.

this is crazy: I have seen alot of personal attacks and spectualations but the main thing now is to move forward again. Get a grip and as community find away to stpo the corruption in town. Are atleast in our most important places ie the areas mentioned by several people. That is where it must start but atart it please stop the attacks and give sulutions move forward.

I agree!! Personal attacks will get us nowhere....All this is over and done with and Dilley needs to move on.

Haven't you read the current lately his name is always in it for stopping all the drug dealers on the interstate if you ask me dilley should of kept him and turn the drug town into something better!

I have not read about any drugs in or out of dilley,what is going on too much looking the other way,I guess that is what makes Dilley special.Sure there are drugs everywhere But when it hits your kids or loved ones remember you did this to yourself the day you voted.
