Homicide victim was shot, believed dead for days

My son Scotty was a very good person.I can't believe not one person in Dickson/Hickman Counties have come forward with info on the murderer(s).Maybe the next person(s)these coldblooded killers gun down won't be YOUR loved one.

why cant somebody come forward and help scotts family w/ this investigation?lets get this murderer(s) off the street i have to look at people when im out in bon aqua/lyles and wonder if this is the person who couldve killed my brother.i hate living in a community w/ people who wouldnt want this scumbag off the streets.people hear things and anything you hear let the police know,no matter how far off it seems or how insignificant it seems.listen to who talks...it could be your older child it could be your neighbor or your local store.listen to everyone and talk about it because its time to get this murder solved.do the right thing..........thank you.

We the family are still mourning the murder of our ''Scotty.''How can anyone out there knowing what happened,still be at large? His murderer(s)are either paying someone off to keep quiet(Hope you have lots of cash)or have left town...good riddance!Still we want answers.WE WANT JUSTICE!!!!!!!!!!

why dont you tell people what happened to your son you keep posting all this hate and revenge and not telling people about the case was it over drugs was it a random killing for people like me who have just started reading the post its hard to tell whats going on let people know what to look out for all your doing is posting the same things over and over again and I do not see where thats helping our family was also victim of a horiffic crime so I do know how you feel are you putting up flyers are you going door to door asking people what they saw you cant depend on law enforcement to do it all they could always use help.

Thank you Pete for responding.......The facts are these:My son,Franklin Scott Brown was murdered sometime between 1am-3am on August 11,2009 in either Hickman/Dickson counties.He was actually found by a passing motorist on the morning of August 12,2009 at approximately 3:30am.He had been shot elsewhere and moved to the location he was found.He had been shot and his body pushed over to the passenger side of his vehicle by the person(s)that murdered him.The autopsy report showed NO,NADA,ZIP drugs in his system.We are unaware of why he was in that area ,unless he took someone there that he thought was someone he trusted or was a supposed friend.The local authorities have no clues,but T.B.I. DOES !!!!!!My sympathy to you and your family for your loss.We just want the person(s)responsible for his murder to be arrested,convicted and locked up for the rest of their sorry lives(including the person's who are accomplices in his murder.) We deserve to know ,who,what,when,where and WHY he was killed!!We ,his family,deserve closure.Sincerely,LINDA,SCOTT' S MOTHER!!!!!

mrs brown I think a crime like this will be solved someone will slip up and say something are case was solved because of the reward money you would be surprised on how quick one of these low lifes will turn on each other over money I hope you get your justice for the murder of your son I know the rage you feel you want to go out and track them down yourself and wring there necks im sure the tbi not releasing everything you would be suprised on how much they know but will not tell you so as not to mess up the investagation you will be in my prayers along with the rest of your family god bless pete
