What a waist of time -- I have lived in DESTREHAN for 17 years and yes I live in Ormond -- I have family that has lived in Ormond for more than 30 years and it has always been called DESTREHAN no New Sarpy. My Mortgage reads that my property is located in DESTREHAN no New Sarpy and that is they way it should stay -- what a waist of time and money -- this is only about race and I am so tired of it -- can't they fight about more important things like the drainage in St Charles Parish -- don't even want to get me started with that issue. And for those who said that Ormond was nothing more than swap land and those who live there get what they deserve -- research what you speak of - Ormond by the River Road was pasture land not swamp land and if you think it is not so come and try to dig up some of my soil it is like rock! Put an end to this crap -- I know how I will not be voting for next go around -- where is Mr. Ram!!!!
