Deltona man faces charges in contact with teenage girls

So I have asked this question @ least 20 times , yet I never get any answers ..Can anyone tell me anything good about deltona ? I mean anything tangible .Not stupid crap Either.seriously , has the city of deltona ever had anything good come out of it? Cause I cant seem to find anything

I Really dont see the difference between all the crap in Deltona than all the child molesters in Debary, Drugs in Orange city drugs and rape in deland, crackheads and all there crap in daytona and the shore area......whats the difference?

Orlando itself has 10 times worst crime than anywhere in florida besides miami !!!!

No difference , but check the maps first of all , deltona has a ton more offenders than debary , and all you ever hear about in deltona is crime ..nothing good at all..that was my point

I agree. I moved here 10 years ago and it was a great place to live. It grew so fast and was advertised as the 'upcoming or Bedroom community'. So many people lost their properties... Now, we have riff raff, section 8 housing (which by the way, the tennants dont care about nothing)and nothing for the kids to do. I see improvement plans for the 'used' to be great city of Deltona but it doesnt appear there is anything focused on the youth of Deltona. Yea, lets build another park...let's build a dog park...

On top of the downfalls that inflict Deltona, the Volusia County Cops sent to Deltona are right out of the academy.. who is training who? The High Schools are horrible...even the City Hall is at war with each other..

If the housing market was better, I would have already been gone!!

3 worst years of my life ..jail was better than this place .Im only still here because I lost so much on this house ..Ill be moving soon enough ..new opportunity opened up so I can get the hell out of delrico without having to sell..Ill just leave the house and let the skells take it over ..Ill never come back to this state again , for any reason..If I need warm weather and nice beaches Ill spend my money in the Caribbean...F56K floriduh and its lowest common denominator people

100% agreement with everything you said , well the cops aint bad , Ive dealt with them a few times and they were pretty on the ball, not like a NYC cop , but good none the less..they do have theri hands tied though , mulder that fucking retard had a hissy fit when his plans for a city police dept failed so he cut the vcso budget by 3 or 4 million a year , so something else you can blame on the mayor of the inbreds is even less cops and more crime

You have mentioned jail, NYC, allowing your home to foreclose and have shown your racism with remarks about 'delrico'. Not a bad thing that you are leaving or have left the city of Deltona. Don't let the grass blades hit you in the butt on the way out.
In fact, go back up to whatever state you came from. The majority of the problems in this state are from people who have relocated here. They want the warm weather, but want everything else to be like it is 'up north'. While native Floridians are expected to kiss your rears out of gratitude for your tax dollars. NOT!
You are also clueless about budgeting and why the budget was cut IN ALL AREAS of the city management. The mayor has no power. He is one vote out of seven and, on his own, did nothing to cut the budget for law enforcement. The budget was cut by the city manager and approved by the majority of the commission. The ones responsible for any increase in crime are the criminals, and perhaps the justice system that does little to encourage walking the straight and narrow. But I guess it is much easier to blame the mayor instead.
Finally, the topic here was about a pervert messing with teenage girls. Well, Deltona is the ONLY city in the area that actually takes a proactive role in dealing with sex offenders. No other city is actively prosecuting these people and forcing them to relocate somewhere further away from our schools and parks.
Now is a good time to allow a foreclosure - so feel free to move on!
