Schools in Kalamazoo, Delton, Paw Paw and South Haven area among the 58 buildings statewide receiving state grants to fight obesity among students and improve childhood wellness, according to the Michigan Department of Education. The local schools are El Sol Elementary School in Kalamazoo, North Shore Elementary School in South Haven, Delton Kellogg Middle School and Paw Paw High School.
