Former Delray Beach police chief heading to the classroom

Former Police Chief Larry Schroeder is changing jobs. But to many, the 30-year veteran of the department will always be 'the chief.'

'We are going to call him chief,' said Atlantic High School Principal Kathleen Weigel - his new boss. 'He's not leaving the city, he's just relocating his office.'

Schroeder, 51, will begin teaching at the high school's Criminal Justice Academy later this month. He retired Monday.

'I never gave it a thought I would be teaching,' Schroeder said. 'But the school agreed to hire another teacher and they were hoping for a retired police officer. I called and asked if they would consider me.'

How to Drive 10,000 Visitors for under 50 Dollars

ImproveTrafficNow.com, is offering some help to small business across the web. The owner of ImproveTrafficNow.com released this statement, "The web is a hard thing to master and I don't think anyone has done it yet but their are companies that can offer some security." As you may already know, ImproveTrafficNow.com is offering some of this security with their Free SEO Help Section and their article on How to use Viral Marketing. But the major shocker from the company was their release of the Free Search Credit Promotion which translates to if you spend any money even a dollar with the company, they will give you 75 Dollars in Ad Credits to Google and Yahoo or Live Search. Now with this said, we come back to the point of this article, Improve Traffic Now is one of the biggest sellers of expired domain traffic on the web, but what separates them from the rest is they offer unique visitors, not just hits. Basically, they buy up recently expired domains and than redirect the domains back to your site which thus sends you highly targeted and unique visitors. We wondered exactly how they got this traffic and the legitimacy of it. Heres what we found out, say domain Example.com expires and ImproveTrafficNow.com buys this domain. Example.com used to be a e commerce site selling children's clothes and than you buy visitors from the children's clothes section from ImproveTrafficNow.com, they will redirect the Example.com to your site. The idea behind it is people who are former customers of Example.com looking for children's clothes try and go to the site but are directed to your site. Plus when some one reads an article or description of Example.com and clicks the link, they get sent to your site. Overall we think this is a great service and all webmasters should look in to their services, ImproveTrafficNow.com is currently offering a great sale on their traffic - save 10% when you use Google Checkout, use coupon code: newsletter. Boynton Beach robbery victim shot in chest

Gregory Potter decided to take justice into his own hands and wound up getting shot in the chest. The 46-year-old father of three was shot about 8 a.m. Tuesday outside a house on Northwest 10th Avenue. Potter was in critical condition late Tuesday night at Delray Beach Medical Center. Potter was robbed Monday night and returned the following morning to get his money back, police said. After he was shot, Potter got into his white Chevy pickup truck and drove away, police said, but lost control of the vehicle at the intersection of Northwest 11th Avenue and Northwest First Street. He crashed into a house a short distance away.

Grand theft charges refiled against former pastors at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church

Just as the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office promised, grand theft charges have been refiled against the Revs. John Skehan and Francis Guinan, former pastors of Delray Beach 's St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church.

In February, prosecutors dropped charges accusing the two longtime priests of funneling hundreds of thousands of dollars from church coffers. At the time, State Attorney Barry Krischer said the decision was a tactical one made because neither the state nor the defense was ready for trial, which had been scheduled that same month. In the interim, attorneys on both sides have continued to prepare their cases and taken sworn statements from potential witnesses.

How to Stay Safe at Home for Under 200 Dollars

Ever wonder at night whether or not you are safe, well according to recent post and polls a lot of people do. The Owner of ManWhatAClick.com thought the same thing before he created the Top Selling Security Site. After the 9/11 crisis and the rising crime rates, it seemed a good fit to offer a Security Site with low prices mixed with good customer service. Well after talking to the owner, he gave us a few suggestions on how to Stay Safe at Home for under 200 Dollars. First suggestion was the MACE Wireless Home Security System only 139 Dollars, an easy to install home alarm that dose not require a monthly maintenance fee. Next he suggested getting a Dummy Camera which will suggest the idea of having a camera system with out the big cost and help keep intruders away. The Dummy Camera runs for 18 Dollars. Now, he said if anyone was ever willing to risk all of that security in your home, you should always have the The 10% Pepper Shot which contains there different cans of Pepper Spray, which will defiantly stop any robber in his tracks for Only 19.99. Than if your interested in getting the total package than get two Window Alert by MACE, for only 9.99 each to help cover those commonly used windows or doors that you may forget to lock. Grand Total 196.97, now that sounds like a good deal to me, for the safety and security of my family spending 196.97 is not bad at all. If you are interested in whole home security please go to ManWhatAClick.com
