CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The man accused of fatally shooting Mingo County Sheriff Eugene Crum is being released from the hospital and is expected to be arraigned on a first-degree murder charge.
Amanda Curry, 29, of Delbarton, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit a felony.
The criminal complaint filed in Logan County Magistrate's Court says a West Virginia State Police officer stopped Curry after seeing Sherman Jones lean into the window of a Chevrolet Trail Blazer, then turn and place something in his back pocket.
