A chemical spill occured on the traintracks at Cole Rd/Rt 395 in Delanson at approximately 12:30pm. Hazmat crews, Princetown State Police, and a helicopter were dispatched.

It was a scary situation for dozens of people after reports of a possible hazmat spill along the railroad tracks in rural Schenectady County.

State police said they are investigating reports of a leak coming from cars carried by a Delaware and Hudson freight train at this hour. via Times Union
