The new bridge was paid for by the federal government, not the City of Del Rio.

IN reference to DRT comments, the city is the owner of the international bridge. Look at their website and you will see that it is a city department. Like I said before, Del Rio will nevedr have bridge traffic from Mexico like their neighbor Eagle Pass, which has 2 bridges, plus also a railroad bridge which is important for commerce.

And how much exactly did the city dish out for the construction of the new bridge? The facility itself has a boundary called the FIS which is part of GSA not the city.
