DeKalb woman dies when car hits pole

WATERMAN – An 85-year-old DeKalb woman died Friday morning when her car ran out of control into a utility pole; police said it appeared an existing medical problem had played a role in the crash.

My husband and I witnessed this accident. This woman avoided many vehicles before losing control. I was very shaken and my thoughts and prayers have been with her family all weekend. May god bless you all and comfort you at this time of loss.
