Blowing hot embers made the job even tougher for rural firefighters. As high winds were a factor in a grass fire on November 14th about 10 miles north of Minot. via KMOT-TV Minot
“My neighbors? They`re one mile north of me. They`re not affected. 5 1/2 miles down and 2 1/2 miles down they are affected and same with the Woodall`s to the east.”
High winds are fanning a two-mile-wide fire that started outside of Deering this afternoon. via KFYR-TV Bismarck
