The Arrest of Roy L. Denton The REAL Account of What Happened, Not What You've Heard--With VIDEO
On Monday, June 3, 2013 I was at the Dayton City Hall where I sat in attendance and video recorded the June meeting of the Dayton City Council. For the last several months I have video recorded the monthly Dayton Council meetings, as well as various Rhea County Commission meetings. All of the meetings, as well as various other video recordings and newsworthy public interest stories and news reports would then be uploaded to the website www.DaytonHerald.net which was, and is, maintained by me. In addition to the DaytonHerald.net website, video recordings would also be uploaded to the Dayton Herald account at www.YouTube.com/DaytonHerald and to create more exposure and broaden the readership base, videos in addition to public interest newsworthy stories, reports and other general interest information would be uploaded to the DaytonHerald.net official Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/DaytonHerald.net. In addition to these websites, a variety of information would be shared with various other websites for consideration of providing for an even greater exposure on the Internet. Vincent property or Louallen property?
Here is a short video are some pictures and video recordings of the property that belongs to Bobby Vincent. This property (Vincent property) is located on 2nd Ave. where the old Dayton Coal and Iron plant was located back in the late 1800's. The plant was shut down and soon afterwards an Ice company was built there. Many people are unaware of the history of this particular piece of ground. Dayton City Council Meeting - June 3, 2013 - Part 1 of 6
This is Part 1 of a 6 part video sequence. Several citizens addressed the council about the Generations/Gaither Homes for the Mentally Ill. These were essentially the same people that addressed the council about Generations/Gaithers at last month's council meeting. It was made rather clear at the last meeting that the city was powerless to do anything about what Generations/Gaithers did. Although the council and city attorney heard pretty much all this at it's May meeting, the council listened patiently as this issue was discussed again at considerable length during the Public Comments segment. This issue was not on the agenda. At timeline 27:10:00 the video recorder was turned off for about 20 minutes to conserve battery power as the commentary became rather repetitive.

RHEA COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING -May 21, 2013 - FULL VIDEO
This county commission meeting appeared to be just another regular meeting until it came time to vote for the purchase of land to build a new jail. As we all know, the jail and the extensive jail overcrowding problem have plagued the county for the better part of two years. After several core drilling tests, architect footprints and over $200,000 on studies, the county commission had narrowed the proposed properties down to two. Those properties were the Welch property located on 16th Ave. and the Louallen property located on Manufactures Road. These two properties for consideration for purchase by the county were on the agenda. Finally it seemed that the commission was ready to buy land which would satisfy the state's mandate of a "good faith" showing of doing something to fix the jail overcrowding problem.
