October 06, 2009, 8:29 AM / The highway superintendent in the town of Dayton Cattaraugus County has been arrested on charges of stealing gasoline from the town and falsifying records, Cattaraugus County sheriff's officials revealed today.

Town of Dayton Highway Superintendent Brian J. Taber has been arrested. In a joint investigation conducted by the town, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff and NYS Police, it's alleged that Taber stole gasoline from the Town of Dayton's highway barn on at least four occasions and then tried to cover it up by falsifying records.
