Evidently, being an exotic dancer and hanging out on the streets at night with men, in DETROIT, is a dangerous "proposition".

She chose to persue a fast and dangerous life as a stripper (many strippers are also prostitutes). Certainly, no one deserves to die like that and the shooter should be hung regardless of age. However, the fact remains that she was a small town beauty with a dark side and that dark side put her in harms way. It's too bad that the lure of fast money rules over common sense and morality.

The facts surrounding the killer actually do not surprise me. It's almost the norm in big inner-cities. The facts surrounding the victim DO surprise me. The story of an upstanding small town person does not seem to jive. The murder happened in Detroit's notorious brightmoor (the locals call it frightmoor) district. The only time you see a white woman there late at night is if they are a prostitute or drug seeker. The police report stated something about a male friend and dancing. Draw your own conclusions.
