DAPHNE, Alabama -- In an area long dominated by Krispy Kreme, competition is on the rise as Dunkin' Donuts plans to open a store on U.S. 98 near Interstate 10. And with over half its sales in coffee, Dunkin' Donuts will also fight for elbow room with Starbucks and its four locations in Baldwin County and eight in Mobile.

DAPHNE, Ala. Daphne will get its second roundabout early next year at the intersection of County Road 64 and 13. State grant money pays for 80 percent of the $1.4 million dollar cost.
