Suspect in Georgia insurance fraud released from jail
A 34-year-old Danielsville man charged with defrauding his insurance clients of nearly $30,000 was released from the Franklin County Jail on a $77,000 bond Thursday, Franklin County Sheriff Steve Thomas said.

D'ville awarded GEFA loan for second water tank
The city of Danielsville was officially approved for a $599,900 water infrastructure loan March 18. The loan, financed by GEFA , will provide funds for relocating and refurbishing a 100,000-gallon elevated water storage tank from Franklin County to Danielsville, according to a press release.
