Minor injuries reported in motorcycle crash

Knox County Sheriff's Office along with Warren Fire and Rescue responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and two other vehicles at the intersection of Western Road and Route 90 at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 11. According to witnesses and people involved, a 2005 Subaru, driven by Ann Robison, 63, of Thomaston had stopped at the intersection on Western Road, and then proceeded to cross, heading south.

J.W. Oliver A Newcastle woman faces several misdemeanor charges after allegedly kicking and spitting on a Damariscotta police officer outside Yellowfront Grocery the evening of Sept. 2. Alisa M. Wallace, 47, faces class D charges of assault and criminal mischief and class E charges of disorderly conduct and refusing to submit to arrest.

Culvert Job to Close Route 32 in Bremen for 30 Days

This culvert beneath Route 32 in Bremen will soon be replaced with a precast, three-sided concrete box which will allow the stream to flow over the natural ground, according to Shawn Smith, a project manager with the Department of Transportation. Weather permitting, a culvert replacement along the course of Muscongus Brook in Bremen will close Route 32 for 30 days beginning Monday, Sept.
