Stopped in for dessert with friends and it was great. Delicious food, cordial staff. We loved it and will definitely return.

At least it's better than the Seafood Barge, which has remarkably gone way downhill. What is the problem there?

So we went out for a family dinner tonight (Dads Birthday) He requested we go to the Red Rooster. My first and LAST time being there since it was farmers bar. The service was horrific! 15 mins after being seated we had to find the "server" to come get our drink order (there were only 2 other tables seated in the place) It took a rediculous amount of time to get our dinner which came out in spirts .. we were almost done eating when the last plate hit the table, the food was OK at best. We had to track the server down a second time to get more drinks... she came with drinks we didn't order, an extra red wine less a white... what a mess. After we finally got someones attention to clear the table the "server" came to the table and asked "What do you want me to do with this cake?" the birthday cake we have brought in for a birthday suprise for dad (we did call ahead and ask if it was ok). She just brought the cake out, did not offer coffee or tea. After we sliced and started eating we again tracked down the server to try and get some coffee. We ordered 5 coffees, she brought out 7... After all the delays and screw-ups we were charged full price (even the extra glasses of wine and coffees brought to the table were on the bill). NEVER AGAIN!!

We have eaten there twice and been extremely happy with the meal. People we took the second time also raved about the food. Try the pot roast.

You are to cheap to leave a tip thats cool but don't make up shyte to cover it up. I was there. That poor girl should have throw the food in your fat rude faces. You failed to mention that you and your party were asked twice to keep your voices down and watch your language .You also left out the part that you insisted that you could have the table next to you saved for the special cake you brought in (which in itself was an insult) People like you have to realize there are rules in restaurants and one is you treat people with respect ( we are here to serve not to be abused as a slave) two it is not your home, you are sharing our dinning room with other patrons and three tell everyone you know how bad we are because if they know the likes of you they are not welcome here either. For your next dinning expeirence I suggest the pig troft at the zoo.

I just get ticked off when people like these think it's just fine to act like a pack of wild hyenas in restaurants because thats how they act at home. when they are not catered to they invent problems to make themselves the victim . When in fact thet and they alone created the situation by being ignorent slobs. They were loudly discussing the size of Grandpas hemmroids as if they were talking about the weather. When asked politely to please lower their voices the answer to the 16 year old server was "honey don't get your panties in a bunch ask your old man he has got f***ing hemmroids too" Alkahalick you are right but I HAVE TO SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT
