What a joke this place is.
First not having a liquor license takes something away right off the bat. That said, how can a bistro in the middle of farm country be out of french fries.

In fact there is a potatoe barn right opoosite them (not to mention a King Kullen 2 minutes away. Then came the Lobster Roll, made with seafood salad. There is NO excuse for this.

Where's Gordon Ramsey when you need him.

I could not disagree more with the other comments! This Bistro has it ALL. Great food at very reasonable prices. The bar is a great place for everything from beer to martinis and don't forget the wines. I had a wonderful experience there. And to see the amount of people waiting to have a wonderful dinner, I am sure this place is going to be around for a very long time!

They have their liquor license now. Wine was good and well priced. It is common in the restaurant business for that to take a few weeks after the opening. Food was good, prices reasonable, very friendly service.
PS Anyone who dines out regularly knows that you do not order lobster unless at a seafood restaurant. For just $16 at this kind of casual place, of course you will get seafood salad.

Is this place like the Blue Top? I loved it when it was like that. A place where you could go and feel like home.

Its not on the menu, but if you ask for Haggis you will get the finest meal ever involving a sheep's stomach.

Expand your horizons and try it!

I just tried the Red Rooster for the first time. After reading the reviews earlier today I was hoping people were being overly critical, no such luck. Crab cakes mushy, salty, & didn't taste that good. I would have liked some tartar sauce as well. The wings are just regular buffalo wings & average at best. What is it with wings & the eastend?, can't make'em right cause of the water? With a name like the Red Rooster you would think the wings would be great!

Someone should shoot the red rooster and put it out of it's misery!

That was the worst restaurant meal I've eaten in a long time!

WOW. Judging by these comments, I will NOT be trying this place. IF most of the comments are not positive, (which they are not), I know not to waste my time and/or money. Sounds like a dump.

Then get you, Mila Kunis, Anne Heche and the rest of the gang over there. Alex and Amanda Bines will be there to greet us. Gordon Ramsey, to the Batmobile!

Daily Horoscope for November 25

Leo

The Moon and Uranus blend in your psychic houses, making it necessary for you to use your intuition more than your intellect. Sometimes you need to stop thinking and just feel; your gut is probably the best barometer of each situation. It may be hard to express yourself clearly so you may want to spend time with those you are especially close to. The deep connections make it easy to understand without words.
