As Tyler Chobanian, 9, sat in his Cumberland home Friday he seemed un phased by his recent good deed.

A townwide parking ban that takes effect Friday at noon will be strictly enforced during this upcoming blizzard, Police Chief John Desmarais was warning as early as Thursday morning.

Frances E. Vandal, 85, of Cumberland Hill died Sunday evening at The Holiday Retirement Home in Manville after an illness, according to Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home .

Earlier hopes that the Manville Bridge would be reopened with a temporary fix by late February were dashed last week when the state announced a new target date of late April.
