Fish caught in Upper Peninsula breaks 25-year-old Michigan record

Michael Lemanski of Florence, Wisc. reeled in the record-setting cisco while still-fishing with a homemade jig on Lake Ottawa in Iron County at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 9. Jennifer Johnson, a DNR fisheries biologist in Crystal Falls, confirmed the 6.36-pound, 21.8-inch fish was a record on Wednesday.
