Graduates return to site of school
Nearly 40 years later, graduates of former Central High School in Franklin Parish gathered Saturday to honor their alma mater's 100th anniversary.
<![CDATA[Tommy and Janice Comeaux of West Monroe are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Lauren Comeaux, to Chanse Arrington, son of Larry Arrington of Dallas, Tex. and Amanda McDowell of Farmerville. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Grace Brown and the late Mr. F.A. Brown Jr. of West Monroe and Mrs. Leattice Comeaux and the late Mr. Carley Comeaux of Crowville. The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Arrington of Dallas and the late Mr. Tom and Mrs. Ezell Miers of Farmerville. Ashley is a graduate of West Monroe High School and Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. She was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority and the LA Tech All-Girl Cheerleading team. She is employed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and is a registered dietitian. Chanse is a graduate of Ouachita Christian School and Berkeley College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is employed by Nokia and is the head of developer and content marketing for North America. The couple will exchange vows on October 6, 2012 at Fair Park Baptist Church in West Monroe.
