* A vehicle's windows were broken out on the 100 block of South Fifth Street between 4:15 and 4:25 a.m. Sunday. * A suspect assaulted his girlfriend and broke the windows of her vehicle as she escaped on the 300 block of Zelora Avenue between 6 and 6:26 a.m. Saturday. * A garage was broken into and power tools valued at $3,025 were stolen on the 400 block of South Fourth Street between 1:30 and 6 a.m. Friday. * A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of beating his 24-year-old girlfriend and a 52-year-old woman who intervened on the 11,600 block of Jacksontown Road, Thornville, between 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. Saturday. * Three teenagers are suspected in a drunk-driving incident in which a gate and a tree were struck on the 12,200 block of Croton Road, Croton, between 12:30 and 7:30 a.m. Sunday. The boys were ages 15, 18 and 19. * A 44-year-old man shot three 10-week-old puppies on the 14,000 block of Willey Road, Fallsburg, between 4:50 and 4:58 p.m. Saturday. He said he could not find a home for the dogs. The incident is being forwarded to animal control for review. * Seven catalytic converters were stolen off vehicles at a dealership on the 12,800 block of Worthington Road, Pataskala, between 8 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday. * A spoiler was stolen from a vehicle at a dealership on the 8,900 block of East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, between May 7 and 8 a.m. Thursday. * A garage was broken into and four saws were stolen on the 8,700 block of Ballou Road, Newark, between Friday and 12:19 p.m. Saturday. * All four door windows and a windshield were smashed on a vehicle at Watkins Memorial High School between 1 p.m. Friday and 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
