18 months? 18 Freakin months? It took 18 months to determine the big evil butcher was selling venison. My goodness I can honestly sleep better knowing the PGC is on their gmae. Congrads Officer Hansen. I deal with Holrick Farms on a regular basis. These folks are hard working indivduals just earning a living. With the enormous list of things wrong in the state of PA that those waisted tax dollars could have been used on, the PGC should be ashamed. Not that I want to see Holrick Farms be fined more, but I wonder how much money was spent on the investigation and whether or not the fines even covered the cost.

Why did the game commission need to buy $3500 worth of meat? I'd argue the restitution because the game commission isn't returning the product to the guy. Although I'm sure there's some lawyer on here that will explain.

He wasn't arrested. He was charged with crimes that are the equivalent of traffic tickets. If you want to call get a traffic ticket getting arrested, that's fine. I think the media does it all the time.

Frankly this doesn't surprise me. I have purchased meat there that was actually bad. Don't know why it took so long to charge this guy. Not exactly a positive role model for the community either.

PLEASE DON"T EVER TAKE YOUR MEAT THERE. THIS Guy is a real jerk! Messed up my deer processing and then tried to blame it on me. Before bring out order he unwrapped all my meat,already frozen, as I had asked to package it myself. Now how are you to wrap frozen meat? Completely RUDE!!!!! I have had deer processed all over PA and have never encountered an experience like this...Your better off anywhere but here!!!!
