I am a mother, and this is really sad....for everyone involved. It is difficult to believe that Christopher's death was intentional when no guns, knives or bats were used. From some of the testimony, by a county official, Christopher did not sustanin any broken bones or bruising....doesn't seem like murder, on any level, was the intent. I guess it all depends on which side of the fence you're on.

So are you saying these young thugs should be let off? While I agree I don't think they intended to murder Chris, they should be held accountable for their actions. Manslaughter, in my opinion is an appropriate charge and they should have to pay the price for their stupidity and ignorance. He did not die from falling off his bike. He passed away from the blow he sustained when they hit him... weapons do not necessarily have to be inanimate (that means without life; lifeless) objects. I'm a mother (of three boys) too.

I agree, It was not a result of an accident that he ended up dead. It was a result of an intended act of violence. Manslaughter is even light in my opinion. You drive under the influence of alcohol and kill someone you catch a manslaughter charge...clearly a stupid decision, but by no means is there any actual violent intent. I think that it was pretty clear that they intended on throwing the kid a beating and should be held accountable. I also hope that the parents of the victim pursue a civil wrongfull death suit against the suspects family also, not that they will likely get much.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Aquarius

If you're still happily munching chocolates and all sorts of other goodies, you'll have to take yourself in hand at some point during the coming fortnight. Maybe you'll have to compensate for all the festive over-eating by taking more exercise or cutting back on the calories, or perhaps you'll decide that you can't delay giving up smoking any longer. As Mercury turns in your twelfth house of secrets, messages you receive at this time may be very subtle or contain hidden meanings meant only for your understanding.
