AA County Investigating Murder Of Crofton Boy

Hey man hate is not the answer. I agree that they should be brought to justice. It is so very sad for this young man and his family.

Obviously Mark was not raised in Crofton, he wouldn't be making racist remarks had he been. It could have just as easily been a group of white kids that did this, but whoever it was, deserves to be in jail, no matter how old they are. It's just disgusting that anyone could do this to anyone else.

It could have been kids of any race that did this, however, African Americans constitute 12 percent of the U.S. population yet account for 41 percent for violent crime. There is definitely a problem with crime in the AA community whether people feel comfortable speaking about it or not.

Does anyone find it odd that the police have witnesses but yet they still will not list the descriptions of the murdering thugs?

Apparently, they were hispanic kids. Regardless, the comment by Mark is outrageous. If you let hate fill your mind, there is no room for intelligent thought....

This is a parents worse nightmare. Chris and his whole family are in my thoughts and prayers....HOpefully justice will prevail and these thugs (white, black, mexican, etc) need to be put in jail for the rest of their lives....I don't care how old they are....they have just torn a family apart....

Aside from comments on the race issue. It was reported there were witnesses... nothing was reported that anyone tried to help this kid, everyone has a cell phone now. Why not? What kind of people would stand by and watch this happen to any child, regardless of race? I surely wouldn't.

your right,i grew up in p.g. county where blacks and mexicans now live and destroyed that place,and at the rate it's going they will destroy crofton,i've lived here 19 years and let me tell you it's gonna get worse.where did you grow up???why do you live where you live??why don't you move to p.g. county???let me guess to many blacks right? the truth is the truth.

crytal,i agree with what you are saying,i for one would tried to run these thugs over and then throw it in reverse,but for you to say you would try to help is crazy,your family would be planning your funeral also.

when is this sh@t going to stop,you have to punish these thugs severly,you see if we had street cameras on neighborhood corners this might not have happened,but this liberal world live in it has to get so bad where people are getting murdered daily for them to take action.cause the liberal people in this world want privacy on public roads,which makes no sense!!

who raped the girl off nantucket who was selling newspapers 2 months ago?black! who robbed some kids sitting in a car near nantucket pool last summer?black!who shot the white pregenent girl off of hart court?black!who tried to rob the bank a month ago next to 424 liquors and busted out the glass?black!!a year ago christmas who armed robbed the jewelry store in waugh chapel with customers inside?black!!! etc........

Crofton by demographic is mostly white. This horrible crime happened right near the low-income mexican and black polluted apartments of Crofton. I would bet that the assailants were looking for a nice bike to steal or some quick cash to pay the rent with. In 20 years of living in Crofton I am qualified to say "You DONT see this type of s*** in CROFTON!!!" There is no reason in the world to kill an innocent boy. NO REASON!!! This story is truly sad because Crofton has been one of the best places to grow up and raise a family in. Now these hoodrats are trying to take over and ruin it, just like they ruined P.G. county. I hope the local P.D. is noting this rise in crime in Crofton and are preparing to go on the offensive! This type of behavior can not be tolerated. I pray the witnesses come forward and not be afraid. This is not Compton or some other hood, this is Crofton and there is no reason not to bring every single piece of information to the authorities! My prayers go out to the family.

I'm going to Ignore the Forum troll here and just point out the following.

I live on the street this happened on, the kid was hit by the car the boys got out and basically beat him to death. Two witness called the cops (there are numerous living in the neighborhood) and tried to chase them down. The car was cornered in the parking lot of the community pool and the kids took off on foot. Some were caught but not all, and the witness didn't see all of them.

So they are probably holding the info on the kids until they have debriefed them and located or possibly identified the ones that got away.

In response to those speculating the reason.

Evidently it was not random, their was a incident at the local school on Friday that caused students to be escorted home. Some students were later seen driving through the neighborhood pointing weapons outside the windows of their cars. It is believe the same individuals are the ones who beat the boy. The boy was targeted specifically and chased down on his bike and then hit with the bumper. Once on the ground they got out and beat him.

Disclaimer being this is only second hand from other neighbors on the street but everyone pretty much said the same thing.

its because they started that crappy section 8 housing. your right mark. all those blacks and mexicans moved from p.g. county to put there kids in better schools and better neighborhoods and brought the ghetto with them. they ruined crofton. i lived in crofton for 13 years and recently moved because of the trash that is moving there. it makes me sick. if you want to have a trashy lifestyle live in the ghetto you hoodrats!
