With swashbuckling sea songs setting the mood in the hallways, Crofton Meadows Elementary School was taken over by pirates during its most recent fundraiser, a pirate-themed math-a-thon. Decked out with eye patches and skull and crossbone bandanas students took part in a treasure hunt that required them to solve math problems.
