Jefferson County Sheriff offers no apology for military procession

I have lived in jefferson County for over 20 years . I can say from experience that on the few occassions I have had to call for help - Jefferson County law enforcement are useless , especially when it comes to dealing with juviniles . We have some " brats " running the neighborhood { parents dont dicipline them }. They decided to steal from me & also were yelling obscene threatening things . I told the officer involved that I would like a copy of the report should another problem arise with these juviniles . He first said he would send me a copy . I waited a month called the office & they said they would send it . I waited another month & called again . They THEN said I would have to call Hillsboro Court house to get a copy . Guess what - I called Hillsboro court house & THEY told me I would have to get a copy from North zone office . I thought about it for a few days wondering just what is going on . I called the North zone AGAIN & they said they couldnt find it . I finally got a hold of someone at Hillsboro { who will remain unknown } & she looked for it . She said all the report had on it was " went to said address at a certain time " THAT IS ALL IT SAID . I have found that in dealing with juviniles , victims should keep there own copies of reports should they have to take the parents to court . Many juviniles think they can get away with anything because many victims dont do there homework & dont know how to put a stop to it . Build youre own case & SUE the parents for " whatever " . The parents are the ones letting their brats run wild . Anyone -- ridding ATV's & dirt bikes on the hiways is an accident waiting to happen . This is a big problem in Jefferson County along with the drugs . Guess what folks . Kids who arent taught there are consequences for their actions go on to bigger things later . I have found that when you take these parents to court over their kid & they have to spend money for a lawyer --> all of a sudden the brats behavior is modified . LOL . As for myself I dont appreciate the incompetency of Jefferson County law enforcement . My taxes pay their salary . If they have a problem with " writers cramp " they should get another job . I do not call the police for every little thing but when I do -- it is serious & I WANT A WRITTEN REPORT for my own records . Anyone else having problems with our so called law enforcement ??? No wonder we have drug problems in this County !

they dont write reports, its always nrn, which means no report needed. listen to the scanner and you will hear your tax dollars going to waste. every dealing that we have had has been disturbing to say the least, and we were the caller. i called one time because we had a sex offender living on the same street and he was harrassing the children and playing obcene rap music at top volume, deputy duffy comes right up to me and asks who owns the car in the driveway i tell him my brother, who is in the middle of changing wiper components, he starts to harrass me and my brother about no wipers on the car, i tell him i want a report on the loud obcene music call he says he isnt going to make one, i then say well just give me your name and badge number, he changes his tune, so i call later and no report is on file this is just one instance of jeffco security force. they come to your home because you called them and harrass you, its pricless they scrape the bottom of the barrel when they hire, but hey the pay starts at $28,900 the last time i checked so what do you expect deputy duffy...
