Over the years, Crestwood Elementary School has seen a lot of the Potts family. Billy and Bette Potts graduated from Crestwood School in 1948 and 1949 respectively, when it served first- through 12th-graders. Their son, Bill Potts, attended Crestwood after it became an elementary school; he graduated from Oldham County High in 1975.
