The Associated Press DES MOINES -- The Creston police chief who faces charges in the rape of a woman at a county club bar has been fired, the mayor of the southwestern Iowa city announced on Tuesday.

The chief of police in Creston, Iowa, is out of a job now, amid charges that he sexually assaulted a woman at a golf club bar.
