Soldiers severely wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq are often sent to Germany for medical treatment and to recuperate from their injuries. CBS 2's Rob Johnson is on a four-day trip in Germany with Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn, visiting Illinois troops there to give thanks for their sacrifice.

Friday was a powerful day at the military hospital in Landstuhl, Germany. Some of the most severely wounded soldiers are being treated here. And Lt. Gov.
