West Covina's Dono Sushi II shuts doors

They can start by getting rid of the gang bangers that are hanging around

West Covina. Who cares?

This place sucked anyway..overpriced commercialized crap.
Just like the one in Rancho.

They had some good sushi and friendly staff. So sad :(

They closed because they "DONO" how to make good sushi.

Not an appealing place. I hate being around swarms of 13 to 16 year olds. Everybody else hates that age group and stays away from that place because of it.

I meant The Lakes in general, not Domo Sushi. I`ll stay away from The Lakes "domo arigato gozaimasu".

I think the 272 bus no longer stopping across the street has made a difference.

Here's what they need to do to revive The Lakes:

-Bring in a photography studio where the girls can take pictures with their baby daddies and get 50 wallet portraits for $4.99.

-Put the Barbizon School of Beauty over there, so the girls can get their eyebrows waxed off and drawn on for $5.

-Blast Art Laboe's Lowrider Oldies through the sound system, and have Roger and Zapp play there on Sundays.

-Start accepting WIC in the food court.

-Put in a King Taco that is open 24 hours, so the hungry people from The Crazy Horse can have something to eat at 2am, before they drive home wasted.

-Accept the fact that West Covina is a dump and move on.

Problem solved.

Im not surprised when any businesses there shut down. The location is terrible and it all seems so tucked away from the main streets. If they were to modify the current street setup, which will never happen and would be a waste of our $, then maybe they'd do better. Its only a matter of time before Rubios and Coldstone bail out of there too.
