Boy Scout Troop 46, sponsored by the Freeville United Methodist Church, announced that Matthew Wimer, son of Mark and Sharon Wimer, of Freeville, was awarded his Eagle Scout rank in a ceremony April 5. Eagle Scout is the highest rank that a Boy Scout can earn.
