Suffolk County Police today arrested a Coram man for driving while intoxicated after his vehicle struck and killed his friend, Krystal Berkowitz, 21, of Christian Ave., Stony Brook, in Setauket early this morning.
Police: Lawrence Pagano, of Coram, charged with DWI after fatally striking friend
Police say a 21-year-old female pedestrian was struck and killed by her friend on Route 347 near Old Town Road at around 4 a.m. According to police, Pagano and the victim were together in his Jeep Liberty in a nearby parking lot.
