Three weeks after an ice storm wrecked much of the electrical-power system in southeast Missouri, about 1,900 homes and businesses still await reconnection today.
Crews work faster to restore power
Utility crews are reconnecting customers with increasing speed in Missouri's Bootheel, where an ice storm last week ripped down most of the area's electrical service.
