Life hasn't been overly kind to Meryl Raybourn, a 46-year-old Topeka man who credits his faith in God for helping him survive the hard knocks he has absorbed through the years. Now 46 and living in the Madison Street Apartments in downtown Topeka, Raybourn said his trials and tribulations started in 1976, when he was was struck by a motorcycle in Wichita when he was just 4 years old.
