Is it too much to ask for clean and provisioned restrooms at the National Seashore beaches? Beaches like Coast Guard and Nauset Light that have a lot of use are dirty and ill-prepared for the day at 9 a.m. The fees collected should at least be used to provide sanitary facilities for the masses who use them each summer.
A proposed $835,000 conservation easement on 413 acres of the Bohanan Farm in Contoocook would preserve prime agricultural soil and forestland, more than 4 miles of frontage on three rivers, and important recreational and historical resources.
