Judge it!
It amazes me the three states involved were not able to see what the common man knew from the get go. Verizon wanted out and they could not find a
reputable firm to buy the land lines so they were allowed to present a firm of some 600 employees with no experience in NE to do Verizons bidding. You will never convince me there was no quid pro quo.

3-state meeting slated to discuss FairPoint woes
Legislators and other officials from Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont have scheduled a meeting with FairPoint Communications' representatives to discuss the company's bankruptcy proceedings.
