Comstock now taking applications for new STEM Academy; informational meetings set for April 17-18

Officials at Comstock Public Schools are hoping to get about 180 students but could accommodate as many as 300 in their new STEM Academy, a specialized school that will open this fall for grades K-5. STEM Academy will be the first of its type in Kalamazoo County.

Comstock school board delays decision on which building to house fifth grade next fall

A recommendation to turn Comstock's Green Meadow and North elementaries into K-4 schools and move fifth grade to Northeast Middle School was tabled Monday by the Comstock Public Schools Board of Education , which wants more information before making a decision.
