Man Shot In Apparent Gang-Related Attack
A man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg Friday night in an apparent gang-related attack in Compton, a sheriff's sergeant said.
The shooting took place at about 11 p.m. at North Mcdivitt Avenue and East Tucker Street, sheriff's Sgt. Alex Salinas of the Compton Station said.
The victim's name was not immediately released.
The man's condition was not available, but Salinas said he was reported to have stable vital signs. Read more
“At first I wasn't sure it was him, but he had a tattoo of a bird on the left side of his neck. And that was a dead giveaway.”
The alleged dognapper of Joci the Yorkshire terrier returned to the scene of the crime, one of the pooch's owners said Wednesday. via Press-Telegram
