The last time I saw Eddie was at my wedding 7/21/90.He was a better friend than anyone has a right to expect,highlighted by the circumstances of our lives,both interior and external.
While I haven't seen Eddie or Mary and have not been apparent friends,I know that where I am today has been forged in part by those adolescent/young men years,we shared.
Like my father,Ed was an example to me of honesty and goodness for to emulate,when I had the courage and consciousness to do so.
I will pray for the Durkin family and remember that"it's nice to be nice"
