Saluda's Baisden manages tight win
Fred Baisden squeaked to a two-vote victory in the Saluda mayoral race Tuesday night, edging John Morgan 104-102, on a night in which voters turned out incumbent mayors of Saluda and Columbus.
A graduate of Asheville High and Western Carolina University, she has been with the bank for three years and serves as manager of the Reynolds office and as a commercial lending officer.
