Nancy Ware is a very sweet and wonderful woman. I have known her since she was a child. If she ran I would vote for her.

I think we need new faces in some of the offices
if we keep electing the same people we have the same old ways of doing business

i agree that we need new people. we complain about decisions being made, but yet we are the ones electing them in there. we can all make a difference at election time. i do think a few of the people are good, but alot of them need to go!

The county clerks, Rhonda Allen Barnett and then in future Nancy give us a hell of a future, but Nancy will have to wait for her turn and I see no reason not to think highly of this. Rhonda saved .. no made the county money as she runs her office efficiently. Show me someone who disagrees and I'll show you someone with an agenda! Nancy, well her pro's are that she is very young (in her low to mid thirties I would guess) treats others equally (probably learned from a master, Rhonda) and I believe at her age will "in the future" will be a better all around county clerk than Rhonda.

That given the facts are this. Why get rid of a genuine, efficient, clerk when she is making money for you? Nancy will be the county clerk in the future, but for now I have a question. Is it legal for a worker under the county clerk to run against her in office? Would this not cause problems?? Thought about this a lot and cannot logically make sense of it. Maybe Nancy is just preparing for future elections .. don't know. I hope for this because otherwise "whomever" are using the "only" person in the county that could even possibly beat the incumbant in the elecion. Why?

Even though I am individually worried more about the election of Sheriff .. who was the only other position to make the county money. Hmmm, a democrat and a republican make the county money. Democrates and a republican suck the county into a financial mess! If both are responsible .... and both Dems and Reps, as in the case of Barnett and Rogers are "very responsible" .. literally", maybe we need to look at the big picture and "logically" realize what we need and "WHO" we do not.

Why is it that the people running for office aren't using Topix for what it was inteneded for? This would be free advertisement and a forum to express what they believe and what they want to change. Look at other sites, they are using them for community announcements, classifieds, etc. It would sure beat the stupid stuff being posted to bash people.

Rhonda has had her turn in office and no she has not saved the county money she has only turned over money to the county one time since she has been in there for 2 terms. How do you say that she has saved the county money?

Yes she has turned money over to the county both times. All of those girls made a promise to her that they would not run against her.

Did you know that Rhonda told her girls that she wasn't running for office and that is why Nancy ran. Nancy had surgery and when she went back to work, she found out Rhonda was running. Nancy isn't stabbing her in the back but Rhonda should have not lied about it.

Nothing against Nancy, as she is a good person and would make an excellent clerk. But, Rhonda will get my vote and will be very difficult to beat as she is very people friendly.

Nancy Ware Mann = Honest, Intergrity and is ALWAYS trying to go out of her way to help everyone, the other women are nice, however Nancy knows from A to Z how to run that office.

Your conclusion sounds like you're one of those right wing nut jobs---"if you don't agree with me, you have an agenda." Quit being so narrow minded.

Maybe you should do your research a bit more and look at more than the surface. The reason the Clerk's office has been running so well is because of the workers. It doesn't come from the top down. Rhonda is never there until the election gets close at hand. Sure, she's there now all the time because she's under scrutiny. If she wins, check on the office every day after the election. She won't be there 60% of the time which is pretty close to the amount of time she spent at the office until this election cycle came around.
My agenda? I'd like to see people get elected who are willing to work. Nancy Mann and Sherry Anderson would both work harder than the incumbent.
As far as Danny Rogers---you got that one right. He works hard and he has been good for the county. He hasn't made everyone happy but that's probably a good thing if you're the Sheriff.

You may be right! Rhonda Barnett has had some health issues!!! But, as far as Nancy Mann or Sherry Anderson runnnig that office??? Think again!!! Neither one of them knows the administartive part of that office!!!! It came from Nancy's own mouth, She does NOT know how to do all the bookkeeing & #'s that Rhonda does, & has done well & on time for the last 7 years!!! From one of the TAXING DISTRICTS!!! Now, what's your comment on that????
